ebikee — Second-Hand E-Bike Marketplace (Germany)
The Goal: Validate demand for a niche second-hand e-bike marketplace in Germany through a lean, end-to-end product experiment
Status: Live on Google Play
Timeline: 4 weeks (Built as a side project alongside a full-time role)
Core Role: End-to-end Product Ownership (Strategy, Design, Dev, Launch)
The Approach:
To minimize time-to-market, I utilized a high-velocity stack—FlutterFlow for the frontend, Supabase (PostgreSQL/Auth/RLS) for the backend, and Claude/ChatGPT for development orchestration and copywriting. This allowed for a production-ready deployment in record time.
Key Ownership Areas:
Strategy & Positioning: Identifying the gap in the German e-bike market.
UX/UI Design: Building a mobile-first marketplace experience with a focus on trust.
Technical Architecture: Designing relational databases and implementing Row Level Security (RLS) for data integrity.
Execution: Managing the full lifecycle via Notion (Kanban) and handling the Google Play Console deployment.
Impact:
Demonstrated the ability to move from "napkin sketch" to a functional, secure, and scalable marketplace in 30 days, managing both the product vision and the technical execution independently.
